The Stanford
Health Promotion Network Website. This user-friendly website provides a common
forum for communication among members, and includes links to key organizations,
breaking news, and an online membership directory, updated regularly. |

Quarterly
Meetings. Members of SHPN are invited to quarterly meetings to learn about
relevant health and business topics. These informational meetings are presented
by Stanford professionals and other experts in the health field. Each meeting
provides networking opportunities and is usually held on the Stanford campus.

Online Health Materials. Members will have access to a variety of online health
education materials developed by the Stanford Health Promotion Resource Center
for use in the workplace, such weight management, exercise and smoking cessation
programs. |

Science-Based
Lectures and Research Seminars. Members are invited to attend special lectures
and seminars presented by Stanford faculty and staff throughout the year. These
programs cover a wide range of applicable topics from various departments at the
University. |

Research
Projects. Members and employees from their respective companies are invited
to participate in ongoing Stanford-sponsored research projects. SHPN will regularly
post studies seeking subjects on the website. |

Health
Promotion Materials. Members receive a 10% discount on all materials from
the Stanford Health Promotion
Resource Center, which offers videos, books, pamphlets, posters, and worksite
health curricula targeted at the general public and health and business professionals. |

Consulting
Services. The Stanford Health Promotion Network can work with individual companies
to develop health surveys and programs tailored for their specific needs. These
programs are developed by Stanford researchers, and can include 'train the trainer'
courses for broad-based deployment of a health curriculum at a company. Fee structure
is hourly and dependent on the level of consultant expertise needed. |

In-House
Lectures. Selecting from a list of interesting topics, members can bring Stanford
professionals into their workplace to conduct lectures and workshops. Fees vary,
and members must guarantee a minimum of 20 individuals. |
